Copenhagen-based melodic metal quartet THE VISION ABLAZE, are back with their sophomore album ‘Embers’. Since the addition of vocalist Tim Nederveen in 2017, the band has been reshaping their sound, resulting in a more modern sonic output with greater brutality accompanied by chilling clean passages.
"We’re insanely proud of ‘Embers’. We have reinvented ourselves and reshaped our sound – we stepped up and began our own sonic journey. Being densely packed with everything we love, it’s everything THE VISION ABLAZE is meant to be today– heavier, groovier but still very melodic and keeping the epic choruses. The coming album will offer much more aggression than our previous releases, but you’ll also find that we’re still completely unafraid of epic, emotional songs that’ll tear at your heart. ‘Embers’ almost burned us – it’s meant to feel scorching”, vocalist Tim Nederveen muses.
Since forming in 2010, THE VISION ABLAZE has released two EP’s and their debut album ‘Youtopia’ (2015), followed by the two singles ‘Call Out’ and ‘Circle of Sin’ in 2018. Their signature melodic metal received outstanding reviews both nationally and internationally and now they are getting ready to follow up with the melodic and intense sophomore album ‘Embers’. The coming album has been recorded and produced by the band’s own Lars Lerager.
